The concept of Potions and Notions was thought up around the fall of 2001. It was going to be a simple book of spells, prayers, and rituals not just for pagans, but for anyone who would pick up and read its contents and apply it according to their own belief system. We wanted to make this unique in it's own way as you will see when you read it. Matthew is a great graphic artist and has created all of the art work contained on the cover as well as all of the pages within this book. He also contributed to some of the writing, including the chapter about the sigils he calls C.A.W.M.s. Cynthia has done most of the writing within the book, and as it has grown, has come up with more and more ideas she wanted to share. They both have touched on many subjects making some chapters very small. But you will find in doing so they have also paved the way for future books and projects that will spring forth creating a series of books each expanding on the individual chapter list in this first book.
